教宗方濟各被同志刊物選為年度人物

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】繼《時代》雜誌將天主教教宗方濟各（Pope Francis）選為年度人物後，美國歷史最久的同志刊物《Advocate》昨天也將教宗選為2013年的年度代表人物。《Advocate》表示，雖然教宗仍舊反對同性婚姻，但他的態度與過去兩任教宗已有天壤之別。

教宗方濟各今年曾經表示，「如果有人是同性戀，懷善心追尋上帝，我有何資格論斷？」這番說詞讓許多支持同性戀的人士深受感動，因為天主教教會一向對同性戀持保守立場。不過在《Advocate》留言區最多人按讚的一則留言，卻認為選教宗為年度人物甚為不妥。因為教宗終究認為同性戀是「有罪」的，留言者認為教宗希望同性戀者懷著善心追尋上帝去「告解己罪」，但同性戀何罪之有？
