八強開踢 德國1：0險勝法國

休兵兩天後，世界杯在今天凌晨零時進入8強賽，首戰由法國出戰德國，這場歐洲大戰在開賽第13分鐘，就由德國先踢破大門，終場德國坦克就靠著這1分，以1：0擊敗法國。

這場比賽擔任先發的德國老將克洛澤(Miroslav Klose)，在第13分鐘任意球斜傳禁區，從中路跟進的胡梅爾斯(Mats Hummels)順勢跳起頭錘破網，為德國攻下致勝一球，德國坦克也連續4屆駛進世足4強。
