心臟不強勿入　印尼殘酷動物園曝光

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】印尼東爪哇泗水動物園(Surayaba Zoo)，被喻為是全球最殘酷的動物園，園內的動物在擠迫、捱餓、受虐的環境下等死。

據英國《每日郵報》報導，動物園1916年興建，先前有飼養員透露，光是在過去3個月，園內就有超過50隻動物死亡。不僅如此，這裡幾乎天天上演動物殘酷史。

被鐵鐐緊緊綑綁著的小象，傷口深可見肉，久久不能癒合，活動範圍就只有幾步空間。駱駝被餓到只剩一排骨頭，瘦弱的四肢勉強支撐身體。150隻塘鵝，擠在同一個籠，不能展開雙翼。垃圾桶無人清理，去年有長頸鹿因為吃下20公斤重的塑膠袋死亡。還有蘇門答臘虎，因為長期吃下含有甲醛的肉，消化道腐爛致死。

園內動物死亡率正每日上升，就有前飼養員透露，對不少人來說，賺錢比照顧動物更重要。當地林業局曾委託獨立人員撰寫報告，報告建議將動物轉移到其他動物園，但當局並無採取任何行動。
