林書豪擺脫前3節低迷表現，決勝第4節甦醒，單節進帳14分，帶動火箭整體氣勢，步步逼退灰熊，最終便以100比92逆轉贏球，收下2連勝。

關鍵第4節，火箭漸漸找回屬於他們的進攻節奏，就在James Harden利用罰球追至70比76時，林書豪三分外線出手命中，順勢帶起了球隊氣勢。

隨後，Chandler Parsons也加入追分行列，林書豪在2分半鐘內投進2顆3分球，將比數追到剩下1分差，林書豪兩罰命中後，火箭隊終於要回領先，81比80。

前3節手感欠佳的林書豪，決勝階段終於覺醒，抓到防守籃板後，一條龍殺入禁區上籃得手，豪小子全場進帳18分，光是第4節就獨攬14分。

重新要回領先的火箭，越打越順手，沒讓灰熊有任何反超機會，Harden貢獻全場最高27分6籃板5助攻，Terrence Jones進帳20分5籃板，Chandler Parson則繳出15分11籃板雙十演出。

灰熊則是Zach Randolph表現最佳，繳出23分17籃板，Mike Conley和替補上陣的James Johnson各進帳11、12分。
