南韓政府決定明年1月調漲菸價，今天警告業者別心存僥倖「囤積居奇」牟取暴利，否則最高可處有期徒刑2年或罰鍰5000萬韓元（約新台幣145萬元）。

南韓「聯合新聞通訊社」報導，南韓企劃財政部今天宣布，即日起至調漲菸價之日止，要嚴懲囤積的不法業者。

報導說，凡香菸生產商、進口商、批發商和零售商，若大量生產、進口、購入香菸，並為牟取暴利而減少出貨量和銷售量，都算違法。

報導指出，南韓企劃財政部規定，香菸生產商和進口商的單月香菸生產量和進口量，不能超過今年1至8月平均值的104%。

至於批發商和零售商的單月香菸買入量，不得超過今年1至8月平均值。但新規定未限制個別癮君子的購買數量，當局計劃派監管小組和歡迎民眾檢舉的方式來監督市場。

南韓保健福祉部11日公布調漲菸價以降低吸菸率的「綜合戒菸對策」，明年1月起，香菸價格從目前的1盒2500韓元，調漲至4500韓元。(中央社)
