歡喜迎新年，三星鄉公所為迎接旅外遊子返鄉過節，並歡迎各地遊客到此暢遊，目前在在廣興大橋南端，運用逾萬枝銀柳製成高6公尺的銀柳拱門，紅色燈籠高高掛，散發濃濃的年味。

三星鄉公所為了營造年節的氣氛，可謂煞費苦心，不僅以傳統手工打造超級搖搖大木馬，即將在22日公開亮相，也在三星橋上及台七丙線幹道兩旁電線桿，吊掛數千盞充滿年味的紅燈籠。最近又在廣興橋三星鄉境內，以「三星五寶」之一的銀柳，搭設一座超大拱門，上面掛有3顆星星，象徵「閃亮三星鄉」。

該座銀柳拱門，長13公尺、高6公尺、寬3.6公尺，花費近一個月時間完成，負責施作的人員將銀柳用鐵絲編織成串，以鋼架做主幹，把銀柳串繞著鋼架放置，做成極具三星特色的拱門，相當漂亮壯觀，使得往來民眾打從心底感受到農曆春節已經到了。

三星鄉長黃錫墉表示，全台灣銀柳有90%產自三星鄉，而有「台灣銀柳故鄉」之稱，銀柳是該鄉「五寶」之一，每年春節前銀柳採收季節，大家一談到銀柳就想到三星鄉。特別在通往三星鄉台七丙線，沿途以銀柳為主題，搭配喜氣洋洋的紅燈籠，讓每個人感受到濃濃的春節喜氣。
