教育創新　教長：盼國外優秀大學來設分校

【蔡永彬／台北報導】日前經建會規畫「自由經濟示範區」的示範創新重點新增「教育創新」一項，教育部部長蔣偉寧上午表示，教育創新包括招國外大學來台灣設分校、與國內大學合設學院、學程及高階課程4類，將先進行試點試辦。蔣偉寧說，教育部半年內將提出規畫，只要有1所國外大學來台設分校就很滿意了，但希望有3至5間國內外大學合設學院。

蔣偉寧表示，全國各大專只要提出申請、通過審查就可以試辦，並不限在自由經濟示範區的地域內。立法委員蔣乃辛質疑，經建會規畫是要「世界百大」才能來，他懷疑名校是否真會來台設分校或合作，或是只想把台灣當前進亞洲的「中途島」；蔣偉寧回應，我方希望招來的不見得是百大，但一定是國際名校，這也可以提升台灣高教能見度，促成雙贏。

立委邱志偉則質疑，9月25日他質詢時，蔣偉寧還說台灣高教普及率過高，「從國際邀1個學校來要花很多錢」，認為不合適，他批評蔣偉寧「昨非今是」。
