敘利亞求外援 對抗伊斯蘭國肆虐

在伊拉克及敘利亞掀起戰火的遜尼派聖戰組織「伊斯蘭國」（IS），在奪下敘利亞的塔布卡空軍基地後，敘利亞拉卡省等於是完全淪陷，這讓敘利亞政府趕緊向外討救兵，表示願意與美國與其他國家合作，對抗恐怖分子。

敘利亞外長莫倫，根據安全理事會的決定，「我們準備好合作，並且與地區國家和國際社會協調對抗恐怖組織。」

另一方面，美國空襲伊拉克，成功擋下了伊斯蘭國的攻勢，但伊斯蘭國在敘利亞卻像是如魚得水，讓敘利亞阿塞德政權也顧不了面子，轉向國際社會求援，希望能夠快點擋下其攻勢。
