美國總統歐巴馬與國務院，今天未對馬來西亞航空班機於烏克蘭東境墜毀多作評論。歐巴馬指出，美方將提供必要資源協助調查事件原因。

歐巴馬在德拉瓦州出席活動表示，全球都在關注發生在烏克蘭的客機墜落事件，這看來可能是恐怖的悲劇，美方正在瞭解是否有美國人在機上，並為所有受事件影響，無論身在何處的人士祈禱。

歐巴馬說，美國將提供所有必要支援，協助瞭解事件原因。

白宮發言人厄尼斯特（Josh Earnest）指出，歐巴馬已與烏方連繫，但無法就事件作進一步評論。

國務院發言人莎琪（Jen Psaki）在國務院例行簡報指出，美方和烏克蘭官方密切連繫以瞭解事件，無法證實機上有23名美國公民的報導。(中央社)
