英國19歲抗癌青年 募款完成後病逝

英國19歲抗癌青年薩頓完成替青少年癌症患者募款心願後，他的母親14日透過臉書告訴粉絲，薩頓已在睡夢中寧靜死去。

4月22日，薩頓於社群媒體上說，他生命接近盡頭，但希望能在死前替「青少年癌症信託基金會」募得100萬英鎊（約台幣5000萬元）善款，這項募款23日即達到目標，其後眾人持續捐款。英國廣播公司報導，最後捐款逾320萬英鎊。

薩頓的母親於臉書貼文說：「我的心充滿驕傲，但也為我勇敢、無私、鼓舞人心的兒子如此早亡感到心疼。」

薩頓15歲罹患直腸癌，動了切除手術後，1年後仍告復發。他列出許多生前遺願，並一一實踐，為癌症基金會募款是其一。
