新竹縣新埔鎮一處公有停車場去年1月間某日深夜發生火燒車，消防局火調科查出是人為縱火，警方調監視器畫面，查出53歲李姓男子當時抽菸進停車場，懷疑他信手任意彈菸灰，才釀火災。消防局火調課鑑識報告，認定起火原因應該是明火，而非菸蒂或菸灰引起，加上沒有其他積極證據證明是李姓男子放火或引火，今天判決李男無罪。
