美國十八歲少女艾拉娜‧賽門不僅戰勝了罕見肝癌「纖維板層肝細胞癌」（Fibrolamellr Hepatocellular Carcinoma），更協助科學家找到可能促使這類癌症惡化的基因缺陷，因而成為論文作者之一，年紀輕輕就登上知名的「科學」期刊。
