據英國《每日郵報》11月9日報導，阿拉伯聯合大公國著名攝影師阿利斯代爾‧米勒為拍攝杜拜全景，用超強的毅力和不怕死的精神，花費兩個小時的時間登上了世界最高的哈里發塔摩天大樓。

據環球網報導，哈里發塔的電梯僅運行到全樓大約四分之三的地方。為了登上這座高達818公尺、令人生畏的高樓樓頂，米勒不得不透過爬鋼樓梯來完成剩下的四分之一的距離。攀爬工作最困難的部分在據頂端一百公尺的地方，大樓開始變窄，如同一根針一樣插入天空，增加了攀爬的難度。

提及這次的登高拍攝，米勒頗為感慨：『我們這是一個團隊共同協作的結果，隊員們會對大樓需要修理的地方及時進行整治。攀爬的過程的確非常辛苦，尤其是需要背著沉沉的相機往上爬，胳膊和腿感覺像火燒一般疼痛。』據悉，哈里發塔的樓頂一般不對外開放，大多數遊客僅能到高達大約472公尺的觀景台進行俯瞰參觀。
