澳洲政府宣布2億澳幣汽車業紓困方案

澳洲政府5日承諾推出總值2億澳幣（1.77億美元）的新汽車業紓困方案，冀望藉支撐困頓的產業，以協助經濟度過礦業榮景告終的難關。

澳洲工業部長卡爾（Kim Carr）說，這套方案將可確保「汽車製造業未來強勁成長，並為澳洲人提供高技術、高薪資的工作」。

這項宣布正當國會大選五周的競選活動開跑第一天。澳洲預定9月7日舉行大選，執政工黨面對聲勢領先的在野保守黨，將有一場硬戰。

卡爾說：「對長期承受澳幣升值和全球市場競爭加劇壓力的汽車業來說，我們的方案將帶來持續的支持。」

澳洲汽車製造業在澳洲僱用逾5萬人，並間接影響相關產業的25萬名員工。
