中國大陸雲南省昭通市魯甸縣今天下午4時30分發生芮氏規模6.5地震，據報導死亡人數已增至221人。

新華社稍早引述大陸民政部報導，地震已導致175人死亡、181人失蹤、1402人受傷。如今人數續有增加。

大陸地震專家說，魯甸強震是雲南18年來最強烈的地震。

新華社報導，成都軍區在震後立即啟動應急預案，共出動2500餘名官兵及民兵預備役人員趕往災區救災。(中央社)
