在今天對基櫗大戰賽前，田中將大現身洋基球場，在媒體記者面前，傳接球熱身了20分鐘左右，還投出不少力道強大的速球，顯見之前酸痛的手臂，應該是沒有什麼太大的問題。

田中是在8月29日投完模擬賽之後，表示整支右手臂酸痛，洋基也立刻將他送回紐約，做進一步的檢查，檢查的結果只是單純疲勞，沒有大礙。

今天下午兩點20分左右，田中將大來到洋基球場，與投手教練Larry Rothschild開始傳接球練習， 再慢慢拉長距離，最遠來到50公尺左右。

在傳接球的過程中，馬君揮臂動作也很大，表示他並沒有特別擔心受傷的部位。

接著再縮短到投捕間的距離，主要是要確認投球的動作，各種變化球都有投，特別是有幾個四縫線，也投出了一般在這種傳接球當中，比較少見的速度。

在20分鐘的練習結束之後，田中將大就直接回到休息室，跟他一起練習的投手教練投手教練Larry Rothschild，顯然對馬君今天的狀況十分滿意。
