一些年輕女子在圖片分享網站Instagram中上傳自拍照，教人們如何輕鬆從『啤酒肚』變為『六塊腹肌』。

環球網據英國《每日郵報》報導，據悉，這場使身形變化的『自拍熱』是由澳大利亞私人教練梅勒妮‧文圖拉(Melanie Ventura)發起的。2013年，梅勒妮將她的『啤酒肚』自拍照和『腹肌』自拍照放到Instagram上，因對比十分明顯而引起大眾效仿。

照片中，梅勒妮的秘訣主要體現在站姿、髮型、表情、光線、穿著及遠近鏡頭幾個方面。梅勒妮表示，只要把這些方面都調整到最佳，笨拙的小豬也能變得比碧昂絲更性感。

在梅勒妮將她的自拍照放到Instagram上之後，不久，一家減肥公司就利用她的照片為他們的減肥產品做廣告，他們還為照片配上了誘人的廣告語：『我們的產品可以讓你輕鬆減掉5公斤，是否感到驚奇呢？它會讓你愛不釋手，買了還想再買!』

對此，梅勒妮表示：『希望大家不要被雜誌或Instagram中的圖片迷惑，自己要有一定的判斷力。』此外，她還說：『減肥的最佳方式不是去盲目地買減肥藥，而是做到健康飲食、健康作息、享受鍛煉、享受生活。』
