印度總理莫迪（Narendra Modi）將於今年9月訪美，並與美國總統歐巴馬舉行會談，旨在恢復兩國最近緊張的關係。 　　

莫迪11日告訴美國副國務卿伯恩斯說，他接受了歐巴馬的邀請。根據莫迪辦公室聲明，莫迪說，印美兩國關係將是世界和平、穩定與繁榮的重要力量。 　　

印度與美國的關係因去年12月一名印度女外交官在紐約被捕並受辱而趨於緊張，這名外交官被指控在簽證問題上欺詐。（國際中心／綜合報導）
