猛！女跑者懷孕34周　2分跑完8百公尺

美國中距離賽跑好手蒙妲諾(Alysia Montano)懷孕34周，仍參加美國田徑錦標賽800公尺賽事。這位曾5奪美國全國800公尺賽跑錦標的女跑手，結果以2分32.13秒完成賽事，比她的最佳時間1分57.34秒慢了差不多35秒。

據英國《衛報》報導，在賽事中蒙妲諾一直緊隨其他跑者，當完成第一圈時，觀眾都大聲喝采，而當她衝過終點時，歡呼聲更響徹全場。蒙妲諾參賽目的，是希望消除女人對懷孕後跑步的恐懼。她表示在懷孕後一直都有跑步，並且覺得跑步對母體和嬰兒均有益，她的醫生也鼓勵她參加比賽。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
