本報訊

成功大學生理學研究所特聘教授蔡少正獲美國實驗生物醫學協會頒發「2014年傑出科學家獎」，今年全球僅2人獲獎。

成大今天表示，美國實驗生物醫學協會（Societyfor Experimental Biology and Medicine，簡稱SEBM）成立逾百年，每年經由提名及科學委員會審慎評審，只挑選1至2名在生物醫學領域中傑出者頒授傑出科學家獎（Distinguished Scientist Award）。

今年全球獲獎者，除蔡少正外，還有1名俄羅斯的科學家。SEBM預定4月27日在美國聖地牙哥的「2014年實驗生物學會年度會議」頒獎。

成大說，蔡少正因生物醫學研究具有開創性而獲獎。蔡少正的研究，包括子宮內膜異位症、癌細胞如何產生抗藥性的機制等兩個部分。

蔡少正是繼成大分子醫學研究所教授張南山，第二位在SEBM獲得殊榮的台灣學者。(中央社)
