追查電鍍毒水稻米　抽驗農會及糧商米倉

　【孫英哲／彰化報導】彰化縣爆發電鍍廠排放有毒廢水案，受影響的農田面積初估超過１８００公頃；對此彰化縣政府農業處指出，二期稻作目前大都已採收，因此該處將與農糧署合作，分赴各地農會及糧商的米倉抽樣化驗，以確定稻米是否有受到重金屬污染；彰化縣環保局則強調，等檢方查明違法工廠的事證後，該局將對這些涉案工廠追討不法利得。
 
究竟有多少稻米可能受到污染？彰縣農業處表示，目前尚無法估算，但若以二期稻作休耕稻作面積約三成來算，１８００公頃可能受污農地中，約有１２００公頃實際受到影響，以１公頃農地約可生產６公噸稻作計算，初估至少有７０００公噸以上的稻作受到污染。
