醃頭案震驚社會，男子陳佳富涉嫌殺害妹妹陳婉婷、並加以砍頭分屍，遭檢方求處極刑，目前全案正由嘉義地院審理中。而案發當時，兇嫌用來棄置頭顱的嘉義水上一座廟宇的公共廁所，經過七個月封閉後，今天由廟方人員請來怪手加以拆除，往後將改建為一座小公園。

　這座被棄置死者頭顱的公廁，位於水上鄉的市中心，一旁還是人來人往的市場。驚悚消息傳出後，不但純樸的水上鄉民議論紛紛，一度還引來許多外地民眾到場圍觀。

　案發後，廟方就把公廁的鐵門拉下，完全封閉，一封就是七個月。由於公廁已經形同虛設，廟方因而決定請來怪手把公廁拆除。

　今天先拆除廁所內所有可用物品，同時修剪一旁的大榕樹，預計還需要兩到三天時間，把公廁移為平地。

　廟方透露，現有公廁拆除後，將改建成一座小公園。另外，為滿足信眾和附近市場攤商的如廁需求，還會在廟旁另外再蓋一座公廁，希望就此化解民眾心中的疑慮和罣礙。
