貓咪誤食老鼠藥　輸狗血救命

【綜合報導】紐西蘭一隻貓咪羅力(Rory)因誤食老鼠藥，痛苦哀嚎，主人愛德花(Kim Edwards)發現後，立即帶羅力到動物醫院。

獸醫海莉(Kate Heller)見羅力無精打采，不斷喘氣，生命危在旦夕，必須輸血，否則無法救活，但當天血液實驗室關門，無法確定羅力血型。在危急關頭下，海莉與同事商量，決定放手一搏，建議將狗血輸入羅力身體，因她知道輸入任何血型的狗血，對貓的影響都不及輸錯貓血一樣嚴重。

隨後愛德花立刻聯絡朋友，請朋友他的拉布拉多犬梅西(Macy)前來，把牠的血輸到羅力身體。一個小時後，羅力漸漸恢復過來，發出得意的叫聲，並愉快地吃起貓糧來。
