沒來過草悟道，就不算來過台中。座落在台中市草悟道中心地段的「草悟道廣場」，歷時4年多的施工，今天下午完成委外經營OT案簽約，取得經營權的是在地企業「台竣實業公司」，依促參法規定將成立特許公司專營草悟道廣場與停車場。

未來將以旅遊、環保、樂活、藝文為主軸，提供民眾多元豐富的遊玩體驗。停車場未來將提供綠色運具，包括電動機車、腳踏車、滑板車、平衡車。

草悟道廣場以藝文之心與低碳之道為主軸，目前已確定與知名藝術家洪易合作，為廣場量身訂作大型戶外裝置，並展示多件深受歡迎的作品，未來廣邀各界藝術家舉辦展覽，預定11月啟用。
