宏達電30日召開線上法人說明會，預估第3季營業收入約500-600億元，季毛利率約18-21%，預估第3季營業利益率約0至-8%；面對本業恐將出現掛牌來的首度單季虧損，宏達電指出，第3季將是營運谷底，計畫在未來幾個月推出許多創新且具競爭力的中階產品，期待第4季能再度展現成長動能並提升市占率。
宏達電第2季營業收入707億元，毛利率23.2%，營業利益率1.5%，稅後淨利12.5億元，每股稅後淨利1.5元；第3季預估營收500-600億元，季減15.13-29.27%，由於預估第3季營業利益率約0至-8%，第3季本業恐怕出現虧損或是只能達到損益兩平。
執行長周永明表示，「HTC的領導團隊持續專注於推動執行，也看到了實際成效，新HTC One滿足各通路與市場消費者需求，近期更推出HTC One產品系列新成員HTC One mini。對今年下半年優質產品及表現充滿期待。」
宏達電指出，目前產品供貨狀況穩定，美國市場第2季循序成長，將持續拓展零售通路；泛歐地區則於西歐主要市場與新興國家重新顯現成長動能；亞洲地區發展頗有斬獲，台灣市場的市占率持續增加，香港市場的品牌能見度也繼續提升，日本市場的產品則普遍獲得當地消費者喜愛。
另外，大陸地區，高階產品銷售狀況良好，但進階與入門款產品競爭趨勢更加激烈。南亞地區，HTC與當地主要的電信業者合作關係則日益強化。 (接下一頁)
